It’s that time of year again! Even if we are sad to see the warm days of summer disappear, we are happy to welcome the Fall and all of the food, fun, and festivities it has to offer. Walt Disney World is already celebrating Halloween with Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.
This ticketed event brings crowds every year who are excited to cheer on villains, indulge in specialty, once-a-year treats and watch new parades and Fireworks shows.
Why you’ll love Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and why you’ll want to go before it ends on October 31:
Special foods and novelty items
Only at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party can you get specialized Halloween treats like a Jack Skellington cake push pop, a Maleficent dessert or a candy corn milkshake.
Plus, you’ll love the novelty items like the cauldron popcorn bucket or the headless horseman straw clip (we want this one!).
New meet and greets
If you desperately want to meet Sally and Jack from The Nightmare Before Christmas, you’ll want to book your tickets into the party ASAP. This is the party where characters (villains and non-villains) who you usually don’t see, come out to play. Plus, your favourite characters, like Mickey and Minnie, will be dressed in their own Halloween costumes! Find out where the characters are located by using the My Disney Experience App!
You’ll have Boo-To-You in your head, constantly, but the catchy song is just one great part of the Boo-To-You Halloween Parade.
The villains have taken over the parade route for this approximately 20 minute parade filled with dancing, and favourite characters. Just be prepared to sing the song for the rest of your life.
All of our favourite baddies shine during the HalloWishes Fireworks! They last for about 12 minutes and you’ll love the lights, the castle projections, the music, and of course the spectacular fireworks.
We already know we can meet some of the villains that we usually don’t get to during the special meet and greets, and see some in the parade, but you’ll also want to catch them on the main stage in front of the castle during the Hocus Pocus Spelltacular show!
Many of your favourite attractions are still open during the event. You can enjoy the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Splash Mountain, and the Magic Carpets of Aladdin, plus some of the features include a bonus bit of fun just for the party.
Some of the Pirates of Caribbean are in search for Gunpowder Pete, and something new is brewing at the Mad Tea Cups ride.
That’s right, the party includes treat or treating around Magic Kingdom Park (and there are allergy-friendly treats too!) Who doesn’t want to trick or treat at the happiest place on earth?
If Halloween is already your jam, it won’t be surprising to you that the decorations in Magic Kingdom during the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party are next level.
Right from the moment you enter the gate and see the spooky lights at the Main Street Train Station, you know you are in for a real treat, all night long.
