One of the best things about dining at Walt Disney World is that there are so many options, no matter what you are craving. For breakfast, lunch, or dinner (or for snacking in between meals), you’ll find amazing bites all over each park, so we’ve put together some of our favourite and best snacks at Animal Kingdom.
The snacks at Animal Kingdom are tasty and plentiful. One of our favourite things to do is make our meal entirely out of snacks, something that’s completely possible at Walt Disney World.
If you want to have a sit down meal at Animal Kingdom, we recommend Tusker House Restaurant for breakfast to start your day (and enjoy the character meet and greet) but then you can work your way around Animal Kingdom and snack, or split quick service meals for the rest of the day.
So what are the best snacks at Animal Kingdom? Here are some of our favourites…
The Best Snacks at Animal Kingdom
This is perhaps one of the most iconic snacks in all of Walt Disney World. It can be found only at certain locations in the parks.
At Animal Kingdom, you can get your Dole Whip fix with rum, coconut rum, or alcohol free (the classic, most amazing way to eat it). This is the perfect treat on a hot day, or just because you know it tastes like Disney.
Where to find it: Tamu Tamu Refreshments
Teriyaki Beef Slider
Imagine a small, perfectly tasty sandwich with teriyaki beef on a soft bun with pickled cucumber. You can get it at Animal Kingdom and even though it’s a snack credit (if you are on the Dining Plan), it can easily become part of a complete meal.
Where to find it: Caravan Road
Macaroni and Cheese
Whether you want a classic, nothing-fancy (but everything tasty) macaroni and cheese or something a bit more hearty like the pulled pork mac and cheese, this is another snack that eats like a main course. There are three different options to choose from to satisfy any of your cravings.
Where to find it: Eight Spoon Cafe
Mr. Kamal’s Seasoned Fries
You had us at fries, but these make the list because you won’t be able to only eat a few and not think about eating more. And more. There’s a sriracha ketchup that comes with them, and they’re topped with a tzatziki salad which easily makes it one of the best snacks at Animal Kingdom.
See a picture of them in this post about the best vegan Disney food Instagramers to follow!
